Thousands of Easter eggs will "rain" over Sprayberry April 3

Forget the rabbit. Prepare for a helicopter to drop thousands of eggs over Sprayberry High School April 3 in what could be the largest family event in Northeast Cobb for years.  

Hosted by Piedmont Church, the Cobb County School District and the Northeast Cobb Business Association, the event is being touted as the "Northeast Cobb Egg Drop and Easter Egg Hunt." Still, the day, which begins at 11 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m.. is far from limited to an egg drop and egg hunt.

Parking and admission are free, though some ride and food can be purchased.
